Continuous waterway shooting device
Filming without stopping the waterway.
【Background and Necessity】 ● Some water channels in hydropower plants, water supply systems, and agricultural irrigation cannot be drained. As a result, internal inspections cannot be conducted for extended periods. ● This system allows for the inspection of wall conditions through camera imaging without draining the water. 【Product Overview】*Please also refer to the leaflet. Patent Application No. 2020-002756, Patent Application No. 2020-117943 ● A system that uses a camera-equipped floating device controlled by a parachute anchor to flow nearly centrally through the waterway tunnel, capturing images of the wall surfaces and tunnel cross-sectional shapes, enabling waterway inspections based on those images. 【Features】 ● Inspections of waterway tunnels in a flowing state are possible (there are no losses due to power generation stoppages from draining). ● In waterways directly connected to rivers, temporary closures and the hassle of water drainage are unnecessary. ● Inspections of small-diameter tunnels that inspectors cannot enter are possible. ● Video recording of the waterway walls is possible, allowing for the creation of unfolded photographs and diagrams. *Note: Under murky water, underwater imaging is not possible. ● Continuous monitoring of cross-sectional shapes (such as wall surface peeling) is feasible. ● The parachute anchor pulls the camera nearly to the center of the waterway, allowing for comprehensive imaging of the wall surfaces.
